Stage of the work

My primary tasks as a product designer in the project was to design new UI screens based on BTC design system and standards provided by project manager and lead designer. After new designs are all done, I was in charge of prototyping all the screens for the user testing. Out of Design UI and prototype, I was involved in some of the early phase of the project such as user testing framework.

Requirements & JTBD

Needed reporting in design

Speech feedback:

1. Pace: can provide numerical score, range (too slow/ideal/too fast) and written feedback. Will link to speaker timeline to show moments where change is needed.

a. JTBD: understand if I ned to slow down/speed up my speaking
b. Ideal range: in the middle

2. Clarity: numerical score out of 10 and written feedback. Will link to speaker timeline to show moments where change is needed.

a. JTBD: understand if I spoke clearly and which parts need improvement
b. Ideal range: higher is better

3. Word spotting: which filler words I said + frequency

a. JTBD: awareness of use of filler words
b. Ideal range: lower is better

4. Vibes: numerical score for each + / - vibe

a. JTBD: understand how I’m coming across in speaking, see related moments for each vibe
b. Ideal range: Higher for + vibes and lower for - vibes

General conversation info:

1. % talk time: how much time this user spent speaking as % of total call time

a. JTBD: No analysis needed for MVP - eventually this will encourage hosts to let other attendees participate more
b. Ideal range: none for current testing

2. Conversation switches (this number is for the whole convo, not just the speaker)

a. JTBD: indication of level of engagement in the conversation.
b. Ideal range: higher is better

3. # Questions asked

a. JTBD: indication of participant engagement in the conversation, ID priorities and action items
